Retour sur le FREREF Day 2022 

Le FREREF a accueilli les participant∙e∙s au FREREF Day 2022 le 24 et 25 mai à Lavallée, Bruxelles, pour échanger sur le thème des transitions : transitions sociétales, personnelles et des territoires, soutenu par un apprentissage tout au long de la vie pour une société plus inclusive et durable. Inclusion : Les partenaires de Must-A-Lab se rencontrent à Modena

Le projet Must-A-Lab est né pour combler les lacunes des stratégies d’intégration locales, à travers une approche participative qui réunit autorités locales, membres de la communauté migrante, acteurs de terrain et autres parties intéressées. La première réunion face à face des partenaires du projet a eu lieu en mai à Modena, en Emilie Romagne : à cette occasion, les partenaires ont pu échanger sur la mise en place de Policy labs, des espaces de collaboration dans lesquels différents acteurs mettent en commun leurs idées et donnent vie à des propositions de politiques à adopter pour améliorer les conditions d’intégration des migrants. 

Litigare a Scuola : lancement du projet sur la résolution de conflits à Milan

Les partenaires du projet Litigare a Scuola se sont rencontrés en personne pour la première fois en juin à Milan. Cette réunion marque le lancement de ce projet, qui a pour but de développer une réflexion sur les conflits à l’école, et de mettre en commun des stratégies et des outils pédagogiques pour affronter ces situations. En effet, les disputes sont une forme typique d’interaction entre pairs dans l’enfance et peuvent être une occasion d’apprendre, mais des stratégies pédagogiques communes manquent à ce sujet ; ainsi, le réseau transnational de partenaires jouera un rôle fondamental dans l’élaboration d’une approche holistique et adaptée à tous les âges qui permettra de gérer les situations de conflit à l’école.

Jouer pour la paix : expérimentation à Lyon – La Duchère

Les partenaires du projet Peace Games sur l’éducation à la paix grâce au jeu se sont retrouvés à Lyon en avril pour finaliser le catalogue de jeux spécialement sélectionnés pour leur capacité à développer les compétences de gestion de conflit, de compréhension mutuelle et de coopération. A Lyon, 22 élèves d’une classe de CM1/CM2 dans le quartier de la Duchère ont testé le jeu Kosmopolit, explorant ainsi les différentes cultures du monde sous un angle linguistique et culinaire, et développant leurs compétences de coopération et d’intercompréhension. 

Laboratoires des politiques régionales de lifelong learning : table ronde à Cracovie

L’université Jagelonne a accueilli la conférence « Laboratoires des politiques régionales de lifelong learning réunissant les partenaires du projet COMORELP (monitoring collaboratif des politiques régionales de LLL) et des acteurs de toute l’Europe pour échanger et partager les résultats du projet. Les participant∙e∙s ont été accueilli par un membre de l’office régional du travail à Cracovie qui a exprimé son soutien au projet COMORELP et aux politiques de lifelong learning, et en a profité pour dévoiler une nouvelle initiative « Learn from the Master » qui soutien les industries ayant souffert de la crise sanitaire. CITIZED : l’éducation citoyenne de Lyon à Vienne

Le projet CITIZED continue sur sa lancée ! Le développement d’outils pour soutenir les politiques d’éducation à la citoyenneté avance grâce au travail des partenaires, qui se sont réunis en avril à Lyon et en juin à Vienne. L’approche innovante de ce projet prend en considération l’école ainsi que tout l’écosystème qui se crée autour de celle-ci, en incluant élèves, parents, acteurs de l’éducation et membres de la communauté afin de rendre les futures politiques aussi inclusives que possible.

Conclusion du projet de recherche CHILD-UP sur les conditions d’intégration des enfants migrants en Europe

Le 9 et 10 juin le projet de recherche CHILD-UP sur les conditions d’intégration et d’inclusion des enfants migrants dans les systèmes scolaires européens se concluait lors d’une conférence internationale à Bruxelles, au sein du tiers lieu Lavallée, à Mollenbeck. Les nombreuses contributions ont souligné l’importance du travail effectué par l’équipe du projet pendant ces 3 ans, et la pertinence des recommandations en termes de politiques publiques à mettre en œuvre dans toute l’Europe pour améliorer l’accueil et la réussite scolaire des élèves ayant un parcours migratoire. Le programme et les différent∙e∙s intervenant∙e∙s sont disponibles sur la plateforme interactive de la conférence.

A venir:  Inauguration Manu Village à la rentrée !

Le nouveau tiers-lieu pour l’insertion sociale et professionnelle « Manu Village », hébergé au sein des locaux de l’Afpa Vénissieux et dont le FREREF est membre, sera officiellement inauguré le 22 Septembre 2022, l’occasion pour le FREREF d’organisé une exposition photo des tiers-lieu visités dans le cadre du projet Places 3T sur les espaces du type tiers lieux pour co-apprendre, co-entreprendre et cocréer, dont la dernière réunion s’est déroulée à Leiden (Pays-Bas) en avril.

Hindsight on the 2022 FREREF Day

FREREF welcomed the participant of 2022 FREREF Day on 24^th and 25^th May in Lavalée Brussels, to exchange about transitions: social, personal transitions, and transitions of territories, supported by lifelong learning dynamics to develop a more inclusive and sustainable society. The exchanges and contents of the FREREF Day will soon be available in a multimedia synthesis!

Inclusion: Must-A-Lab partners meet in Modena

The Must-A-Lab project was born to fill the gaps in local integration strategies, through a participatory approach that brings together local authorities, members of the migrant community, field practitioners and other stakeholders. The first face-to-face partners meeting took place in May in Modena, Emilia Romagna: on this occasion, the partners were able discuss the setting up of policy labs, namely collaborative spaces in which different actors pool their ideas and give life to policy proposals to be adopted in order to improve the conditions of integration of migrants. 

Litigare a Scuola: launch of the project on conflict resolution in Milan

The partners of the Litigare a Scuola project met in person for the first time in June in Milan. This meeting marked the launch of the project, which aims to develop a reflection on conflicts at school, and to share strategies and pedagogical tools for dealing with these situations. Indeed, quarrelling is a typical form of peer interaction in childhood and can be a learning opportunity, but common pedagogical strategies are lacking on this issue; thus, the transnational network of partners will play a fundamental role in developing a holistic and age-appropriate approach to dealing with conflict situations in a school context.

Playing for Peace: experiment in Lyon- La Duchère 

Partners of the Peace Games project about Peace Education through playing have met in Lyon in April to finalise the Peace games Catalogue, selected for their capacity to develop the competences of conflict management, mutual understanding and cooperation. In Lyon, 22 pupils of a school in the area of La Duchère have tested the game “Kosmopolit”, explored the diverse cultures all over the world from a culinary and language point of view, and developed their cooperation and cross-understanding skills.

Laboratories of Regional Lifelong Learning Policies: the Krakow Round Table

The Jagiellonian University held the conference “Laboratories of Regional Lifelong Learning Policies” gathering partners of the COMORELP project – (Collaborative Monitoring of Regional LLL Policies) and stakeholders from across Europe to exchange experiences and share the results of the project achieved so far. Partners were welcomed by a representative of the regional labour office in Krakow who expressed their unflinching support to the COMORELP Project and for lifelong learning. He went on to disclose an initiative that had just begun called “Learn from the Master” which supports industries that suffered during the pandemic. You can watch the full conference on Youtube !

CITIZED: citizenship education from Lyon to Vienna

The CITIZED project continues on its course! The development of tools to support citizenship education policies is progressing thanks to the work of the partners, who met in April in Lyon and in June in Vienna. The innovative approach of this project takes into consideration the school as well as the whole ecosystem that is created around it, including pupils, parents, education actors and members of the community in order to make future policies as inclusive as possible.

Conclusion of the CHILD-UP research project about the integration of migrant children

On 9th and 10th June, the research project CHILD-UP about the condition of integration and inclusion of children with a migrant background in European school systems held its final conference in Brussels, Lavallée, Mollenbeck. Numerous contributions have highlighted the importance of the work done by the project team for the past 3 years and the relevance of the recommendations in terms of policies to implement to improve the inclusion and school success of children with a migrant background. The programme and the name of the panellists are still available on the conference interactive platform. 

Upcoming inauguration of Manu Village in September 2022

The new third place for social and professional insertion “Manu Village”, hosted within the Afpa Vénissieux office, will officially be inaugurated on 22^nd of September. This event will be an opportunity for FREREF to display a photography exhibition about the various third places we visited for the project Places-3T about third-type places for co-learning, co-entrepreneurship and cocreating, whose last meeting was held in Leiden, the Netherlands.
